Valentine's Day

Dusty despises Valentine's Day! Everything about it! I, being a woman, LOVE IT! But, since this is the 7th Valentine's Day that Dusty and I have had together, I knew what to expect, nothing! That is OK with me though, I now buy my own flowers and always plan a nice dinner to have at home with Dusty, that he is OK with (I think he secretly enjoys it to be honest).
He ended his 48 hour shift at 8:00 Valentine's Day morning and I was planning on surprising him with Eggs Benedict ready for when he got home and a steak with lobster ravioli dinner for that night. I had the table all set and ready for breakfast.


Then, the power went off the night before! I was still hopeful that it would come back on before he got home. It did not! Surprise was off and he brought home breakfast!



The power came on late that night and we decided to try again Sunday for our Valentine meals. It was a success.
