Time to Eat!

Parker has been eating homemade purees for about a month now. He loves everything so far! Bananas, pears, apples, prunes, carrots, acorn squash, and sweet potatoes! The purees are getting thicker and he is reaching out for the spoon more and more. He likes picking up Cheerios and Puffs and the challenge of getting them into his mouth and not on the floor for Shrek and Fiona. Shrek and Fiona by the way, have discovered that the best place to hang out is under Parker's high chair at breakfast, lunch and dinner! I like it too, as they clean up Parker's mess!

Today I got Parker some tiny star shaped pasta to make for him. We will try that along with peas this week. I feel bad giving him peas, as I hate them myself, but I think he will enjoy eating them himself.

He has all FOUR of his top teeth coming in right now! Soon he will be eating steak with Dusty!!

One day a few weeks ago Parker was not interested in eating, but I knew he was hungry. I got out a mirror from one of his toys and put it in front of him. I think he liked being able to see himself, he sure did start to eat once he could see what he was doing.
