Parker has gotten very few baths in his life. For me, getting the baby tub out, setting it up, filling it up, all too much work for a quick bath that he cannot even sit up and enjoy yet. We started giving Parker showers from the start and he has always enjoyed them. He even likes it when I say, "1, 2, 3" and run the water over his face! The other day I wanted to see what he would think of baths. He loves it! Again, I think we have a water baby!
I can't wait until he is sturdy enough to sit in the tub all by himself and have some good clean fun!
I'm jealous! We started giving Emma showers early because I hated giving her baths (afraid of her slipping, and it was a hassle to set the bath up for just a few minutes of bath time and she drove me crazy trying to stand up and play with the shower doors). When she was actually big enough to play in the bath tub, she hated baths and refused to sit down in the tub. So she's still our shower girl. Hopefully Abbi will like baths better - our shower isn't big enough for two kids!
ReplyDeleteLOL Bryce was the opposite! Remember how he was deathly afraid of showers until about last year?! I thought he would be taking baths into adulthood!!
