Bermuda Dunes and Santa Barbara

At the beginning of March Dusty, Parker, the dogs and I loaded up in the RV and headed down South!

Parker eating snacks and watching a movie on the way down South.

Our first stop (and main reason) of the trip was to visit with Dusty's dad and his wife in Bermuda Dunes. Parker had an incredible time with both of them, and still asks for "Papa" (He cannot say the requested GrandPaul yet!)

Parker and Papa playing in Papa's beautiful backyard.

I am sure we left Papa with lots of 're-landscaping'!

Parker and Papa in the hot tub.

Parker literally fell down on the couch next to me after the hot tub and fell sound asleep...we have since turned our hot tub on and it has become a nightly activity at our house...sure to get him (and us!) a good nights sleep! (Yes, that's my 34 week prego belly!)

Papa took us to the Living Desert in Palm Springs. Very cool place. Parker got to brush the goats.

Play the drums.

And feed a giraffe, Papa called to tell us that 3 days after we were feeding this giraffe, she had a baby...they did not even know she was pregnant!

After we left Paul and Pat's we headed to Santa Barbara for a few days. The first day we walked around downtown and went to the Santa Barbara Mission.

We stayed at the Thousand Trails Campground just outside of Santa Barbara, they have a Dude Ranch during the summer months. We were able to see the horses and cows!

On our trip home, we stopped in San Luis Obispo at the Madonna Inn and had lunch and Dusty's (and now Parker's) favorite Banana Cream Pie...what a treat!
We had a great time taking one last trip as a family of 3!
