Parker's First Birthday Party

This past weekend we had a special event at our house!

It was Parker's First Birthday Party! We chose a 'P', polka-dot, and pinwheel theme with blue and brown. I had lots of fun making all the decorations: a "Happy Birthday Parker" flag banner, lots of pinwheels of all different sizes and centerpieces that were clay pots with wheat grass planted in them and pinwheels! Our dear and very special friends gave Parker a bounce house for his birthday. All the kids loved jumping in it during the party. We had a yummy BBQ followed by a personal cake for Parker which he stuck his finger in and licked the frosting off, 'P' shaped cookies and cupcakes!!

The back deck all ready for guests to arrive
The center pieces and Peanuts for munching on!
P cookies, P cake and blue and brown cupcakes! Super Yummy!
Photos of Parker's first year of life and Dusty and my baby books. There are photos of Dusty when he was a baby that look identical to Parker!
Parker is looking at Daddy, "What do I do Dad?"
He soon figured it out.
"Hummm...this is kind of good!"
Help from the big kids on how to "Dig In!"
Us!
A little cuddle from Auntie Kathy
No too much of a mess
The cake was a success!
Opening the Squeaky Shoes from Grammy Nora...they squeak with every step! Fiona thought they were a dog toy for her!
She followed him around for a bit! Too funny!
A "big boy" fire truck from Great Granny Milly. This will be a favorite for Parker and Daddy to play with!
Another Fire Truck! We LOVE fire trucks!! This is a ride on one from Grama Karen.
Cousin Quinn getting in on the action in the Dump Truck!
Dusty, Parker, Uncle Chad and Cousin Quinn hanging out in the bounce house! So much fun! Quinn was a riot in this thing!
Quite time with GG, a perfect end to a perfect First Birthday!

We are so thankful for all the amazing friends and family we have who took time out of their busy schedules to spend the evening with us! We missed those of you who were not here.
